Your gateway to new media – in the Shenandoah Valley, and beyond….

Strasburg, VA — Beginning the first week of June 2009, 7Bends of the Shenandoah Valley Magazine debuted in full-color format. A month prior, this web site was launched. The first issue of the Magazine is being distributed in the Valley (in Shenandoah and Frederick counties), and in high-visibility locations in Loudoun County through August. As bonus distribution, the full-color, free 24-page Magazine will be distributed at 4th of July celebrations across the Valley, at Shenandoah Valley Music Festival performances, and at the Shenandoah County Fair…to name a few high-traffic venues this Summer.

Now, through our media group – Shenandoah Marketing Services – we’re pleased to announce your chance to get involved, as we’re busy creating our Fall and Winter issues. Call us at (877) 771-7194, use our Contact Form under “Contact,” or email us for advertising information – info at 7Bends.com.

Face it: old, static media outlets are dead; they just don’t get results anymore. We’ve built 7 Bends to be your integrated, everchanging “new media” solution. We can get your business or your event exposure in the Shenandoah Valley, in Northern Virginia, and across the Mid Atlantic region via our quarterly Magazine, and via 7Bends.com – our optimized news and marketing web portal – thus driving targeted traffic to your web site. We also will offer a number of custom niche publications in the coming months.

The content people want – where they want to get it…
7 Bends of the Shenandoah Valley Magazine is full of up-beat, forward-moving articles celebrating the people, businesses, places, and events that make our region truly unique. No negative news here. And, 7Bends.com is a news and marketing portal – providing the latest information about the Valley and beyond 24/7 – that’s hard to find anywhere else.

Here are some details about our upcoming issues:

Quarterly Magazine – Fall issue – to be published September 1, 2009 (40 pages)
Distribution – 10,000 – Approx. 2,000 each in these three counties: Shenandoah, Frederick, and Loudoun counties. Approx. 1,000 each in each of these three counties: Fairfax, Warren and Clarke counties. Plus, bonus distribution in Rappahannock and Rockingham counties, West Va., and D.C.

Quarterly Magazine – Winter issue – to be published December 1, 2009 (40 pages)
Distribution – 13,000 – Approx. 2,000 each in these six counties: Shenandoah, Frederick, Loudoun, Fairfax, Warren and Clarke counties. Plus, bonus distribution in Rappahannock and Rockingham counties, West Va., D.C., and Maryland.

7Bends offers affordable, “integrated” ad packages – including print ads in the Magazine along with web banner advertising on 7Bends.com (with a link back to your web site). Our background is in search engine marketing, and journalism. In addition, we’ll be creating a number of supplements for Fall and Winter, including The Definitive Guide to Holiday Shopping in the Valley. Ask us about these special opportunities.

Distribution Summary
7 Bends of the Shenandoah Valley Magazine is distributed free in outdoor newspaper boxes, inside racks at 7Bends Distribution Points (over 50 locations at present), at high-traffic “communal” spots like coffee shops, at Metro stops, rest areas, and shopping centers/malls, as well as at major regional events. The Magazine is also delivered to selected homes and neighborhoods in the Shenandoah Valley and Northern Virginia.

7 Bends of the Shenandoah Valley Magazine and 7Bends.com are products of Shenandoah Marketing Services, a new media and publishing group, headquartered in Strasburg, VA, the gateway to the Shenandoah Valley, at the base of Signal Knob.
