shenandoahcountyyardcrawlNorthern Shenandoah Valley, VA — On the drive home from our office today, a friend took a few pictures of the set-up activities along State Rt. 11 between Strasburg and Edinburg, Virginia. Each year,  local vendors set out their wares, souvenirs, and refreshments along the over 43 miles of roadway/parking-lot. And, tomorrow, bright and early is the long awaited day, Saturday, August 8. Come on out to the country and pick up some deals, enjoy some Valley hospitality and partake of the many superb restaurants and amenities that make this part of our state unique.

Susie Hill, Director of the  Shenandoah County Economic Development Department, has coordinated this year’s event once again, working with all of the historic towns along Old Valley Pike for many months in planning the day-long extravanganza. The route starts in Stephens City in the north, and runs to New Market in the south.

One of the event partners, the town of Woodstock and the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce, have provided an informational flyer for reference – available at: http://va-woodstock.civicplus.com/DocumentView.aspx?DID=310
