North Mountain Vineyard announces Winter events in the Valley

Come on out to the Valley and enjoy these special activities at North Mountain Vineyard in Mauertown, Virginia this Winter:

January 2 & 3 (Snow Date Jan. 9 & 10) – Annual Open House

A fun day for customers and friends! Join the North Mountain Vineyard crew to ring in the New Year, renew old friendships, meet new friends and neighbors! Sample great wines and enjoy a smorgasbord of gourmet snacks. Live music Saturday & Sunday. No admission fee.

January 9, 16, 23, 30 – Soup Saturdays featuring Homemade Gourmet Soups

Call the winery at 540-436-9463 or check their website (see below) for the Soup of the Saturday. Each week a different soup is paired with a special North Mountain Vineyards wine. Enjoy this freshly prepared delight in our cozy Tasting Room near the fireplace, Noon to 4 pm. Market price. Pre-paid reservations required.

February 6 – Annual Winemaker’s Valentine Dinner

Fine dining in the Shenandoah Valley. Bring your sweetheart to North Mountain Vineyard & Winery for a romantic, candlelight, six course gourmet dinner. Their winemaker will join the celebration by presenting the individual wines served with each course.
6:30 p.m., $65 per person. Pre-paid reservations required.

February 13 & 14 – Valentine’s Chocolate & Flowers Weekend

Valentines are special! Stop by for a romantic wine tasting interlude. Join us in the fun of pairing our award winning red wines with delicious dark chocolates and fabulous chocolate snacks. Enjoy the circle around the fire place with candles, flowers and wonderful company. Chocolate or red wine fee. Market price.  Live music Saturday & Sunday. No reservations required.

February 27 – Annual Fun & Prizes Chili Cook-Off.

Bring your favorite chili entry to North Mountain Vineyard & Winery and let other customers sample your creation! The customers are the judges and cast their votes for their favorite chili. Great fun, great friends, great chili, prizes to win! Entry fee $10. Registration required.

March 13 – Leprechaun Day! Live Irish Music at North Mountain Vineyard & Winery.
