Humble Monkey Gourmet – A Whole Lotta of Fun under One Roof

Great Falls, Va -There’s a transformation going on in Great Falls, Virginia. Located at the the corner of Georgetown Pike and Route 7 in the Seneca Square Shopping Center (right next to Brix), Humble Monkey Gourmet Wine & Beer is open for business under new ownership. They are transforming the place into something new and exciting, while keeping the friendly, home-town atmosphere that has served customers so well in the past.
Humble Monkey Gourmet offers delicious coffee drinks, an eclectic and impressive food menu, and an enjoyable atmosphere in which to get to know others. They also have free wi-fi to take care of a little business or catch up on emails. Among other items, Humble Monkey Gourmet offers fresh roasted, ground and brewed coffee, espresso, lattes; 100 percent all-natural smoothies; and an evolving food and pastry menu to delight loyal patrons and first-time visitors alike. Recently, the shoppe has just added a fine selection of boutique wines and specialty beers to their offerings, and will be announcing educational events by wine and beer experts.
Humble Monkey Gourmet is also dedicated to community involvement. They are a member of the Great Falls Business Professionals (GFVPA). They also support the Fairfax County Firefighters, Fairfax Emergency Services, and regularly reach out to assist local area churches. Humble Monkey Gourmet is an enjoyable, fun place – a place to stop in and say hello and enjoy the friendly, informal atmosphere. The business will be holding an official re-opening in February 2010. I remember this location in prior incarnations: Java Junction, The Wired Monkey, and Tuscan Wines. All were lovely “non-corporate” shoppes and the Humble Monkey is equally warm and hospitable. Coffee is fantastic!
