Strasburg, VA – With all of the talk about the dangers of nano-foods these days, it’s good to know a place where you can get real homegrown, fresh vegetables in the Shenandoah Valley.

Cristina’s Cafe at 219 W. King Street  in Strasburg, Virginia, is now hosting a farmer’s market in their parking lot every Friday night from 6 to 8 p.m.

You’ll have a chance to support local farmers and can purchase some of the meats, cheeses, breads and produce that the Cafe uses in their homemade, fresh recipes.

Cristina’s Cafe also features music on the weekends. Tonight, Saturday, May 29, 2010, Five of A Kind, a popular local Bluegrass Band will be playing for the crowd. Reservations are recommended; the cover charge is $5.00.
