The grandstand events for the 2009 Shenandoah County Fair have been confirmed…and there’s something for everyone! Kate and Kacey (pictured) will be performing Sunday, August 30. As their agent says: “If there’s a point where country music’s best traditions intersect with its future, it may very well be in the music of Kate and Kacey Coppola. Musically, they’re a mix between the Dixie Chicks and Brooks and Dunn.”

Also performing on August 30 is Julianne Hough, who many are familiar with as one of the champions on ABC’s top-rated show, “Dancing with the Stars.”

The “heavyweights” this year will be country music legend Kenny Rogers on Friday, September 4, as well as the popular 1970s band, America, performing their timeless hit, “A Horse With No Name” on Wednesday, September 2. Jamey Johnson, country music songwriter, also returns to the stage on September 3.
